I am so jealous. Wish my AR was going smoothly. I bet your teachers love less email. We get so much at my school, it doesn't seem humanly possible to manage the scope. I'm looking forward to hearing more and plan to share some of your information at our school. Thanks Regina!

@Regina

I'm glad you're results are going the way that you planned and positively! What a blessing that teachers have a better way to communicate and be more productive!
I was an attendance dean as my duty last year, and trust me I know that record keeping is no joke! The amount of wasted time spent tracking students that have been turned in for skipping, and then 50% of them its just an error in the attendance record! Valuable class and instructional time is definitely affected by this issue.

I would love to mention your Google DOCs idea of record keeping to the attendance deans at my school if you wouldn't mind!

How will I be a contribution today?
I try to enter the doors of our school with a smile and a good morning as I stroll through the halls passing students thinking to myself “It’s going to be a great day!” I try to assist the parents and students as much as possible. I always keep in mind that we have them for the majority of the day and for some this is a safe haven, some are caring the weight of the world on them at such a young age, and as Tricia mention “We need to give them the benefit of a doubt.” It is such a great feeling when you reach at least one and he or she comes back to visit and say, “Thank you for always being there and believing in me.” He then goes to our conference room to speak to a small group of students about his college life. This is my daily contribution.
